NORIBIC provides mentoring and business coaching to SMEs, micro-businesses and start-ups; and innovation consulting for those with new products and business models. It undertakes European and Government funded projects and manages a Business Incubator facility providing support for incumbent micro-businesses.
NORIBIC also provides specific support to the creative industries. Creative suppliers are key contributors to the private sector yet often fail to receive the type of business support required to help them grow and export their products and/or services. However NORIBIC has a proven track record and has developed a niche in provision of support to creative entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland enabling them to set up and grow their own business, boosting their portfolio and developing the capabilities to widen their services.
NORIBIC has delivered programmes, such as 4CNW and Steps to Creativity, which have provided creative suppliers with the opportunity to enhance their portfolio and increase their exposure on a European wide level. NORIBIC has helped many creative businesses, especially those in our Digital Media Works Incubator, through all the challenges and new learning ground that come with starting-up and growing a business. It provides the owners of these creative companies with a fresh perspective of their skill sets, and help them identify new services they can offer using their existing skills.
