Queen’s Future Architects Showcase Innovative Designs


Exhibition of future architectural talent at Queen's University

Queen’s School of Planning, Architecture and Civil Engineering will host an end of year exhibition to celebrate and showcase the work of a new generation of Architecture students from 18 – 26 June in the studios at the David Keir Building, Stranmillis Road.

For the first time, Civil Engineering students will also display their designs which include the Meccano bridge project in their attempt to win the world record for the largest Meccano structure.

The exhibition is a celebration of the talent, creativity and innovation of School of Planning, Architecture and Civil Engineering students with models and drawings of the students’ designs on show.

Queen’s is one of the top universities in the UK to study Architecture. It is ranked fifth out of almost 50 institutions in the Guardian University Guide 2015, and first for student satisfaction among Architecture students in the Sunday Times University Guide 2014.

The launch event is on Thursday 18 June at 6pm, Lecture Room 0G.024, David Keir Building, Stranmillis Road, Belfast.
